- Advanced Interventional Procedures: Proficient in performing angiograms, routine and complex angioplasties, balloon valvuloplasties, and aortic stent grafts. He has con- ducted over 10.000 trans-radial angioplasties, including triple vessel angioplasties, and more than 4,000 trans-radial primary angioplasties.
- Pediatric and Adult Cardiology: Skilled in pediatric interventions and pacemaker im- plantation, including Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy. Dr. Rajagopal is recognized for performing the first Alcohol Septal Ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in Mysore and holds the record for the highest number of such procedures in South India.
- Innovative Treatments: A pioneer in his field. Dr. Rajagopal performed the first valve-in-valve transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), Mitra-Clip, and Leadless Pacemaker (Micra AV) procedures in Mysore. His innovative approach has set new standards in cardiac care in the region.
